For me, to dance means "Self-expression" on the border of the fiction and non-fiction.
There are determined indications such as the choreography, the music, and the role, but I still enjoy putting myself in them,
The self-expression" on the stage is not one against one but one against majority. And I think every one differs in feeling this "self-expression".
You can be impressed by the movement of the precise moment or can be impressed through the whole work.
Sometimes it takes a while to understand the meaning of every single moment. You can find an answer to express the movements through the class lessons.
But in the first place, there is no correct answer to the expression itself and what makes it interesting is that there are some ambiguous moments and a gap inbetween those expressions.
The moment when the temperature of the liquid gradually rises and becomes gas, we call it "a critical point".
If you consider this "critical point" as a sort of explosive change on the border, I can say that in ballet,
you will accumulate the energy in the movement and when it comes to a "critial point" it changes to different expression.
When you can feel this border, I can say that I have reached my "self-expression".
